collection petals, a job to my taste

Today I visited my mother. Now in October there's a lot to do in the garden. For example collecting roots, fruits, leaves and ... petals? befor the first frost.
Petals are great for salads and other foods, but they are scarcely available in winter. So you can collect and dry them.

Today I collected
Bellis perennis
Calendula officinalis
Lithospermum purpureocaeruleum (what a name!)
Tropaeolum majus
Viola tricolor
